ABOUT SHOPIFY STUDIOS

Launched in 2019, Shopify Studios is a full-service film and TV production company with a mission to inspire and redefine entrepreneurship via original, entertaining, and thought-provoking storytelling. Working in partnership with internationally known creators and talent, Shopify Studios develops, produces, and finances an array of content across a variety of mediums, genres, and formats, including long-form series for streaming platforms and linear networks, as well as feature documentaries—all spotlighting facets of the entrepreneurial journey.

WORK

Shopify Studios released their new web series called New Money: an engaging and explanatory YouTube series that uncovers the secret economy of various topics through a commerce, culture and entrepreneurial lens.

I was called on to ideate and curate the look and feel of the said series, from logo design to colours to animation styles. The turnaround of each episode was quick, with a new one completed every 3 weeks. Since its launch, it has since become Shopify’s most successful YouTube series to date.
